We do all the paperwork
UK government guidance states that homeowners must inform their local DNO (Distribution Network Operator) if they intend to install an energy device on their property. There are two types of applications, known as G98 and G99, depending on the size of the solar panels installed will determine whether you can apply for this after installation is complete, or prior to the install commencing.
If you don’t complete a DNO application, you won’t be eligible for Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) payments for any excess energy you sell back to the grid. Lucky for you we do this entire application process on your behalf!
Panels installed by accredited technicians
It’s really important to ensure you engage a solar panel installer that is registered with an appropriate certification scheme. At Cre8 Zero all of our installers are certified through the MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) body, meaning that the work they undertake complies with national building regulations.
Typically scaffolding will go up one or two days before the day of your installation and installation is usually complete within the day. We ask you to be at home for the first part but otherwise you can go on about your day as usual.
Start making energy
Once installation is complete, we will then test and make sure everything is running correctly before connecting to the grid. We will then be able to provide you with the necessary documentation for your solar PV system, including your Building Regulations Completion Certificate and your Installation Certificate.
You’ll be able to monitor your energy consumption from all your smart devices and save thousands across the lifetime of your system.
